Goodman: Blog post #5

All in all, copyrights don't affect my online experience that much. I buy mostly all my music from iTunes because my grandparents were in the music publishing business (and because its ethical and I believe in supporting artists you enjoy listening to). At this point with the internet, if there is any video that I really want to see, I can find a copy of it somewhere. The only real way I see my online experience being affected by copyrights are when videos are taken off youtube for copyright and the website just leads me to a broken link.

For now, I don't think copyrights play a huge roll in what I can and cannot do on the internet. But, by the sounds of lecture today, this could all be changing very soon.
