Since I just did my first post, I figured I'd do this one too. I thought the video on the internet was pretty interesting. Originally, I never would have thought the ideas, concepts and basic network structure of the Internet date back to the 1950s. I'm pretty sure I understand the idea of standardizing all of these networks so that they can be compatible with one another.
But, one thing I didn't like about the video was at the abrupt end how they just leave you with the fact that the networks were connected. Was that it? Did they have no other issues? What exactly was/is sustaining the Internet then? I'm sure we'll go more into this in class.
